A supremely stretchy yarn

AIR JET yarns are a range of yarns combined with LYCRA® using an air system; these yarns are used to manufacture very stretchy fabrics with a soft warm feel.

The AIR JET processing technique uses an air jet to fuse the LYCRA® fibre to a textured polyamide thread; this process is called interlacing. Like this, the resulting yarn will have both the bulkiness and high covering power of the textured yarns and the extreme stretchiness and the elastomer’s superior ability to spring back into shape.
